In the heart of Leporano, overlooking the deep blues of the Ionian Sea, Villa Ypsilon 1963 is a rare architectural guest house rooted in the modernist spirit of the 1960s.
Built in 1963 and raised on stilts, the villa opens fully toward the sea, embracing light, horizon, and silence. Its clean lines and rational structure echo the era’s architectural ideals, while the interiors introduce warmth, texture, and a relaxed bohemian soul.

Villa Ypsilon 1963 is first and foremost a life choice.
We discovered this villa by chance during a journey through southern Italy. The architecture, the sea, the feeling of suspension between land and water — everything spoke to us instantly.
Christine Romanens, a designer and jewelry creator, with also an extensive experience in hospitality, together with Thierry Abi Saab, a Franco-Lebanese hospitality consultant, investor & chef, decided to leave their former professional lives to settle in Puglia and open the villa to guests who seek calm, beauty, and authenticity.

Thierry Abi Saab brings over forty years of experience in hospitality, having created and managed properties across Europe and beyond. Today, he has chosen a slower rhythm of life, focusing on what he loves most: the sea and the kitchen.
During your stay, Thierry will be preparing breakfast each morning, introducing guests to flavours inspired by his Franco-Lebanese roots with gentle Mediterranean touches.
If what you are looking for is some time by the sea, Thierry and Christine are the perfect hosts. The sea is literally a few steps away and Thierry prepares a lovely day activity by the sea
